Injury Report
- Akil BaddooIRExpected return: Jun 1
Baddoo landed on the 60-day injured list before the season with a left quad strain that he suffered during spring training. He'll need ample rehab at-bats to knock the rust off and is not a lock to be added back to the active roster once he's physically ready.
- Angel ZerpaIRExpected return: Jul 1
Zerpa went on the injured list last week and after seeking multiple opinions has made the decision to go under the knife. He will likely be sidelined until around midseason next year. Acquired from the Royals via trade over the offseason, Zerpa will finish the 2026 campaign with a 6.39 ERA and 8:6 K:BB over 12.2 innings. He'll be eligible for salary arbitration for a second time this winter.
- Brandon LockridgeIRExpected return: Jun 16
Lockridge landed on the 10-day injured list this past weekend after hurting his knee when he crashed into a side wall in the outfield while trying to make a catch. He required stitches to close a deep laceration and has now been diagnosed with a bone bruise as well.
- Brandon WoodruffIRExpected return: Jun 3
Woodruff simulated two innings in a 30-pitch bullpen session Monday and came out of it well. If he is able to take another step forward when he faces hitters Friday, Woodruff could soon be cleared to make a rehab start. There's no timetable yet for the veteran hurler's return to the Brewers' rotation, but early June is plausible. Woodruff has been sidelined since late April with right shoulder inflammation.
- Jared KoenigIRExpected return: May 29
It will be his first time throwing from the bump since he went down with a sprained left elbow in early April. Koenig will need a rehab assignment before returning and is not expected back until late May or early June.
- Rob ZastryznyIRExpected return: May 25
Zastryzny began the season on the injured list with a shoulder strain before being pulled off a rehab assignment when he suffered an intercostal strain. The lefty reliever has hardly pitched the last two months, so he'll likely need at least a few rehab outings before being considered for activation.
- Garrett MitchellDay-to-dayExpected return: May 24
Mitchell was taken out of Wednesday's game against the Cubs due to back tightness, and Saturday will be the second game in a row he's missed. The Brewers haven't indicated that the speedy outfielder will need a trip to the injured list, though that could become an option if he doesn't return soon. Milwaukee will start Jake Bauers, Jackson Chourio and Sal Frelick across the outfield Saturday.
- Brenton DoyleIRExpected return: May 30
Doyle isn't expected to play in Wednesday's series finale while he continues to be monitored, but the Rockies haven't decided on his availability for their upcoming seven-game road trip. The 28-year-old has posted a career-worst .549 OPS so far this season and appears to have moved into a short-side platoon role in center field in recent weeks.
- Chase DollanderIRExpected return: Jul 1
Dollander landed on the 15-day injured list last week due to a right elbow sprain. He will opt for a rest-and-rehab treatment plan for the time being, though it will take a while for Dollander to rebuild his stamina following the shutdown period. A timetable for Dollander's return won't become clearer until he starts ramping up his throwing again.
- Jimmy HergetIRExpected return: May 29
The right-hander has been away from the Rockies since Saturday but is now back on the active roster. Herget has recorded one save and three holds with a 5.40 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 15 innings this season.
- Jordan BeckIRExpected return: May 29
Beck remains limited to a short-side platoon role, though he has seen an uptick in playing time of late with Colorado facing three lefties in the last four games. He delivered the only run of the game for the Rockies with a double in the third inning. Beck has struggled when given an opportunity this season, so he isn't likely to see his playing time tick up in the immediate future.
- Mickey MoniakIRExpected return: Jun 1
Moniak will get a breather as the Rockies square off with left-handed starter Eduardo Rodriguez. The outfielder has gone 2-for-21 at the plate over the last seven games, so a day off might not hurt. Troy Johnston will draw the start in left field, batting eighth in the series opener.
- Ryan FeltnerIRExpected return: May 29
Feltner saw his first game action in nearly a month after hitting the 15-day injured list April 24 due to right ulnar nerve inflammation. The righty was efficient during his time on the mound, needing 47 pitches to record his 11 outs and allowing just three baserunners, two of which came on infield hits. Feltner is likely to need at least one more outing in the minors to build up his pitch count, but he could have a shot at returning to the Colorado rotation by the end of the month.
- Victor VodnikIRExpected return: Jun 5
Entering a tie game in the ninth inning, Vodnik shut down the heart of the Phillies' order and got rewarded for his efforts when his offense put two runs on the board in the top of the 11th. The right-hander is the clear top option in the Colorado bullpen, converting four of his six save chances so far in 2026, but pitching his home games at Coors Field has left its mark on his ratios in the early going. Vodnik has a 3.60 ERA in 10 road innings, but a brutal 11.12 ERA in 5.2 frames at home.
- Willi CastroDay-to-dayExpected return: May 24
After going 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout, Castro will sit out for the series finale against the Rangers. The switch-hitter is slashing .239/.299/.642 as he rides the bench Wednesday. The 29-year-old has been almost an everyday starter for Colorado and will receive a rare day-off against right-hander Jack Leiter.
