Susac was placed on the 10-day injured list April 21 and began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on May 7, slashing .529/.619/.882 with five RBI, five runs scored, two long balls and a stolen base in 21 plate appearances over five outings with the River Cats. The 25-year-old catcher could rejoin the parent club during its three-game trip to Sacramento before the Giants head to Arizona. Susac is expected to serve as San Francisco's primary option behind the plate with Patrick Bailey now in Cleveland, though Jesus Rodriguez is still likely to factor into the mix.

Miller has made two appearances with Triple-A Sacramento during his minor-league rehab assignment, combining to pitch two scoreless innings while striking out three batters. The southpaw will make his return to the major-league roster after the minimum 15 days on the injured list, and he'll immediately be back in the mix for save chances with San Francisco.

Birdsong was diagnosed with a sprained UCL in mid-March and elected to go under the knife. The right-hander will miss the entirety of the 2026 campaign and likely at least the first couple months of 2027.

Oliva remains without an official timeline to rejoin the Giants after undergoing surgery just under two weeks ago to address a left hamate bone fracture, but his move to the 60-day IL ensures that he'll remain on the shelf through mid-June. The 30-year-old outfielder went just 1-for-7 at the dish in seven games with the Giants prior to landing on the IL and may not be guaranteed a big-league roster spot once he's activated.

Butto has already been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery Saturday to repair an artery in his arm, so moving to 60-day IL has no impact on his timeline. He'll cede his spot on the 40-man roster to Eric Haase, who was selected from Triple-A Sacramento to replace Daniel Susac (elbow) on the active roster.

Webb has been on the IL with right knee bursitis since giving up six runs to San Diego on May 5, but he appears to be trending towards returning to action when first eligible late next week. The right-hander has struggled to a 5.10 ERA and 1.40 WHIP with 27 strikeouts over 30 innings in his last five starts, and it's possible that the two-week break will allow him to hit the reset button mentally and return to form.

Sanmartin was placed on the 60-day injured list March 25 due to a severe right hip flexor strain, and he began his rehab assignment in Arizona on Wednesday. The 30-year-old southpaw got the starting nod and pitched one scoreless frame, tossing seven of his 10 pitches for strikes. The Giants claimed Sanmartin off waivers in November, and he had been competing for a bullpen spot before suffering the injury. However, he isn't guaranteed to rejoin the parent club once healthy.

Dollander's velocity was down a bit during Thursday's outing and he wound up being charged with three runs on five hits and a walk while recording only three outs. He will likely be sent for imaging on his pitching arm before more is known regarding how much time he'll miss.

The right-hander has been away from the Rockies since Saturday but is now back on the active roster. Herget has recorded one save and three holds with a 5.40 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 15 innings this season.

Feltner threw around 35 pitches in a live batting practice session Wednesday, which marked his first time facing hitters since landing on the injured list. It's unclear how many rehab starts he'll require, but he should return in late May or early June.

Getting the start in right field and batting second, Freeman took Tim Mayza deep in the seventh inning to give the Rockies a 7-2 lead, a run that proved to be crucial when the home side struck for five runs in the bottom of the eighth. Freeman has seen most of his playing time in the outfield so far, playing only four games at second base compared to 13 in right field and seven at DH, and in that role he's slashing .293/.376/.400 over 88 plate appearances with two homers, four steals, eight runs and 12 RBI.
