Rockies vs Dodgers

Injury Report
- Ryan FeltnerIRExpected return: May 29
Feltner had previously stated he didn't believe he'd need a rehab assignment, but manager Warren Schaeffer suggested otherwise Wednesday. Feltner is still on track to return at some point in May, though it could be later in the month than originally anticipated.
- Jimmy HergetBereavementExpected return: May 13
Herget spent time on the paternity list in late April, and he's now going to be away from the team again while dealing with a personal matter. The parameters of the bereavement list required Herget to miss at least three, and no more than seven, games. Seth Halvorsen was called up from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move to fill Herget's spot in Colorado's bullpen.
- Ben CaspariusIRExpected return: May 22
Casparius has been on the IL since April 13 due to right shoulder inflammation. While he's doing some throwing, there's no word on when the right-hander may begin a rehab assignment, so he's unlikely to return to the Dodgers' bullpen in the immediate future. Casparius allowed five earned runs over 4.1 innings spanning five relief appearances this season before being shelved.
- Brock StewartIRExpected return: May 31
Stewart landed on the 15-day IL earlier in the day due to a left foot bone spur, which corresponded with Blake Snell being activated from the IL. Given the timeline, Stewart will be on the shelf until at least late May, though it's unclear whether he'll need to go on a rehab assignment before rejoining the Dodgers.
- Edwin DiazIRExpected return: Jul 17
no
- Gavin StoneIRExpected return: May 22
Stone was diagnosed with inflammation in his surgically repaired right shoulder during spring training and was shut down from throwing for several weeks. Tests confirmed that there's no structural damage in the shoulder, and the right-hander has since been cleared to begin a throwing program. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday -- the same day Stone was moved to the 60-day IL -- that the hurler is essentially going to need to ramp up as if he's restarting spring.
- Landon KnackIRExpected return: May 24
Knack has been on the injured list since the start of the season due to an intercostal strain, and his move to the 60-day IL will ensure he remains on the IL until at least late May. His 40-man spot will be given to Tyler Fitzgerald, who was acquired in a trade with Toronto on Tuesday.
- Mookie BettsIRExpected return: May 11
Betts landed on the IL on April 5 due to a right oblique strain, which kept him out of game action for more than a month before he played 11 innings over two rehab contests with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday and Friday. With Betts checking out fine following the rehab assignment, he's on track to rejoin the Dodgers lineup for Monday's series opener, though Roberts said he's undecided whether the eight-time All-Star will hit second or third in the order, according to Dan Greenspan of the Associated Press. Betts should immediately settle back into an everyday role at shortstop, and his return will also force the Dodgers to make a tough roster decision. Alex Freeland and Hyeseong Kim have been serving as the Dodgers' primary starters in the middle infield during Betts' absence, but one of the two would appear at risk of being sent to Triple-A in a corresponding move since the team's other two reserve infielders (Miguel Rojas and Santiago Espinal) don't have minor-league options remaining.
- Tyler GlasnowIRExpected return: May 22
